So, what are your thoughts on King of the Monsters? Any theories as to what surprise monsters we could see? Or plot points?
My only strong theory is that they're going full Toho on this, and Mothra will be psychically linked to Millie Bobby Brown's character. Just the way she's freaking out, and attracted to the "Queen of the Monsters" implies some kind of connection, I feel.

Two words. Mecha. Ghidorah.
At the end, Alan Jonah purchases the disembodied head of Ghidorah, perhaps he plans to revive the monster? Will Ghidorah be able to revive his body like he did his head, or will he need some human help? I think that Jonah and others with similar ambitions will bring him back with machinery, creating Mecha Ghidorah, who appeared in the original films. |

I say we may see Bagan in a future release using cells of Godzilla, Ghidorah and the other specimens Johna's group got their hands on. also, I feel in a future film will feature Destroya do to a certain weapon being fired. however, instead of a mutant earth creature, I would like it if it was some kind of mutated parasite from space that was attached to the false king
I also feel that Mothra rushed her development as she was only in her chrysalis for about 2 days at most. Had she had time to grow as a larva then had a longer time to evolve in her chrysalis she would have been able to weaponize here bioluminescence's. Michael Dougherty stated in the commentary that he believes that Mothra shares the memories of the here past lives. one of Mothra's abilities has been the reflection of beam attacks via her scales, and as of Godzilla vs Mothra battle for the earth, she was given a beam weapon and her son Leo equal to Godzilla if not super Godzilla in power. When she spread her wings over Godzilla I kinda feel she was going to create a barrier to allow Godzilla to recover out of habit or to help supercharge Godzilla, as Godzilla was being drained by Ghidorah of his energy. she sacrificed herself to make sure he could recover and still enter burning mode. if she also if she were able to weaponize her bioluminescence she would be on par with leo's final form and Godzilla's fire/burning form . also Mothra seems to still be the most powerful psychic in the monstervers/tohoverse.
Ghidorah: until officially statement counter this I feel he is not a natural monster like the Titans he was instead created to be a living terraforming machine and possibly a planet clearer like the Pacific rim kaiju. Ghidorah has been depicted as having some degree of psychic ability so I believe the middle head could have the ability to take over the body of a Kaiju/titan and use its body to regrow his which would explain why he wound up in godzilla's mouth. however as Godzilla is known to be a powerful psychic he was able to resist the takeover and then destory the head.
